The following description comes from the event organizer.
Kick off the weekend with 90+ minutes of comedy, made up on the spot and based on your suggestions! We will be joined by special guest groups throughout the season. So, check our website (oncetoldtales.com) and Facebook for ticket information and to see who’s coming to town! While we don’t try for explicit content, our Friday shows are uncensored and are meant for adults. If you have younger improv fans or want a show more suitable for general audiences, join us on Saturday for our all-ages show!
May 3rd, Once Told Tales welcomes Clergy of Errors and Fancy Cafeteria!
Clergy of Errors comes to you on bended knee from the 1780's to bring a Renaissance to comedy. These fully improvised friars are monastic and fantastic.
Fancy Cafeteria combines the glamour of a Broadway production with the dishevelment of improv, a hilarious musical experiment that will have you singing for your supper. Based on your suggestions and no preset script or score, Fancy Cafeteria will perform a brand new musical filled with wistful protagonists, catchy melodies, and spontaneous dance breaks all accompanied by a live soundtrack. You won’t want to miss the opening and closing night of this never-before-seen production.
Rounding out the evening will be your house team, Once Told Tales. Through its various incarnations, the team has been bringing laughs to Seattle’s Greater Eastside since 2013. Our shows feature once-in-a-lifetime long form stories (Friday nights) and fast-paced short-form games (on Saturday nights).
It's gonna be a night not to miss!
