Please join us for the Washington State Annual History Awards, an evening celebrating the people advancing the field of history in Washington through writing, teaching, historical projects, and understanding cultural diversity. Enjoy a reception with appetizers, a no-host bar, and a book signing with keynote speaker David B. Williams. Following Williams’ presentation, hear from the honorees as the History Awards are presented. Learn more about the Annual History Award categories here.David B. Williams is an award-winning natural history author. He writes about the impact of geology on our lives and the natural world. He has received numerous awards for his work. Williams will be presenting on his latest book, Homewaters: A Human and Natural History of Puget Sound.
