The following description comes from the event organizer.

Join us for an evening celebrating LGBTQIA+ artists, ceramics, and community!

This special evening will run from 6-9 pm and include drinks and bites from local businesses, drag performances, a short-film documentary screening highlighting Queer Cat's programming, a raffle, and silent auction featuring fine art, ceramics, and pottery from local wood-fire artists.

Drag performances by Anyanka and Rosie Cakes begin at 7 pm, followed by our film screening at 8 pm. Raffle prizes and silent auction winners will be announced at 8:30 pm (ticket holders do not need to be present to win). And don't forget your dancing shoes for a karaoke after party! From 9 pm-late.

Queer Cat is a free, annual ceramic art program serving LGBTQIA+ artists in the Portland area. Offering a fully free firing weekend at East Creek Art in Willamina, OR, Queer Cat brings together artists of all levels of experience. With a fully LGBTQIA+-led crew, the Queer Cat Firing cultivates an environment focused on clay education and provides avenues to mentorship, advocacy, and the creation of ceramic art.

Please consider a suggested donation of $20-50 per attendee.
