Chef Aaron Adams explained on Instagram that the business was labor-intensive and not profitable enough to be sustainable. However, fans can take solace in the fact that Adams is planning a new concept—one that he says will make devotees "cry tears of joy" when it is revealed—and that the Fermenter brand will live on in the form of "products and classes and other stuff."
