We've rounded up this list of vegan restaurants worth trying, from the taqueria Mis Tacones to the Italian spot Lilla. Check out our food and drink guide for more ideas.

Boxcar Pizza List
This 100% plant-based pizza parlor specializes in Detroit-inspired pies. Mercury culture editor Suzette Smith wrote, "Boxcar Pizza easily falls into the category of vegan food that you crave, even if you aren't vegan. The luscious imposter mozzarella and ricotta on Boxcar's Bianca pie may as well be real cheese for all its melted, gooey goodness. While walking home from Boxcar on a misty winter evening, I achieved a perfect hygge moment after chomping into a garlic piece buried inside seasonings of basil, sea salt, and red pepper flakes, all while grease ran into the palm of my hand."
Kerns

Chubby Bunny List
This cart slings "secretly vegan" breakfast sandwiches and "potato mittens" (deep-fried hash browns in that puck shape you might be accustomed to finding at the Golden Arches).
Sunnyside

Cosmic Bliss Scoop Shop List
The Eugene-based ice cream brand Cosmic Bliss's flagship scoop shop serves up both grass-fed and plant-based ice cream, with flavors such as peanut butter blitz, twisted cookie dough, strawberry lemon shortbread, sea salt caramel chocolate, and sweet cherry amaretto, plus shakes, cookie sandwiches, ice cream bars, and other treats.

Pop flavors range from mangonada and "Oatchata" (cinnamon and oat milk) to the "Tickle My Pickle"—Suzette Smith wrote of that particular eyebrow-raising flavor, "The Tickle My Pickle bar had a full-blown dill spear frozen in there. I had my reservations, but the tastes really worked. The salty brine never wavered in its vinegar deliciousness, and that dill wedge surprise had me engaged right down to the personalized Ice Queen popsicle stick."

Norah List
The team behind Mestizo List opened this sister restaurant serving plant-based pan-Asian fare with Pacific Northwest ingredients on Belmont a little over a year ago. Vegan Junk Food List
Just because vegans abstain from eating animal products doesn't mean they want to spend the rest of their days eating nothing but piles of quinoa and leafy greens. EverOut managing editor Janey Wong wrote of this plant-based comfort food destination, "The chicky nuggies were very convincing, lookin’ darn near identical to their animal counterpart, and satisfying to this omnivore’s palate. The curly fries that accompanied it were pitch-perfect, but the real revelation was the vegan ranch."
