The following description comes from the event organizer.

Uncle Vanya
By Anton Chekhov
Adapted from a translation by Stepan Simek
Directed by Chris Conner

During a smoldering summer on a Russian estate in the late 19th century, Vanya and his niece Sonya toil away, working.

When the estate’s owner returns with a much-younger wife and the intention to sell, an undercurrent of emotion is brought to the surface. Chekhov’s iconic meditation on wasted purpose and unrequited love comes to life this Spring in a bold new production featuring performances by Angie Tennant, Hailey Houser, Doren Elias, Jacqueline MacDonald, Kathleen Worley, Joseph Bertót, and Ted Rooney as the titular Vanya.

About 21ten Theatre
21ten Theatre was founded in 2021 on the core pillar of true community. True community is the sense of deep camaraderie and connection that comes out of knowing others and being known, fully, for who you are. With this as our guiding principle, we strive to be a haven for theatre artists and theatre lovers to come together and share an intentional space. We see ourselves as community builders examining the human condition through the great tradition of storytelling.
