In honor of Earth Day, environmental nonprofit SOLVE puts on its biggest annual event with numerous volunteer opportunities that invite you and your friends and family to help make our planet cleaner and greener. From beach cleanups to mulching projects, there's something for all kinds of volunteers (green thumb or not). The statewide effort kicked off on April 13, with a majority of the events scheduled for Saturday, April 20, and the cleanup concludes on Earth Day, April 22. by Shannon Lubetich
