The following description comes from the event organizer.

Join KEXP for Pushing Boundaries!

Throughout the month of May, we’ll be highlighting stories from the Asian and Pasifika diaspora through music.

Pushing Boundaries is KEXP’s celebration of Asian and Pasifika stories through music, taking place throughout the month of May, with radio, podcast, and live performance features, and a new art installation in KEXP's Gathering Space.

It all starts with an on-air kick-off on May 1st, when a team of DJs will broadcast live from Seattle's Wing Luke Museum for a day of conversation, celebration, and — of course — music! (Note: You are welcome to come say hi and experience the KEXP broadcast with a ticket to Wing Luke exhibits.)

Tune in on Monday, May 1st from 5 AM to 7 PM PT for the kick-off, and listen along all-month long
