The following description comes from the event organizer.

Witness a fated misfortune challenged by a timeless, powerful love via an Indian classical dance-theater musical experience

Let us travel back in time…before history as we know it was recorded…when the divine and mortal worlds overlapped….an ancient time period untouched by the conflict and chaos of our world today.

King Nala, with a face like the sun and an exquisite appearance sculpted by inner beauty, was admired by all. Upholding justice and righteousness, he ruled the prosperous Kingdom of Nishada. Meanwhile, Princess Damayanti of Vidarbha, a living painting of perfection, was known for her unmatchable beauty, strength, humility and unwavering faith. She was a true devotee to her people. A winged messenger of fate unites these powerful souls. However, this union must overcome tests bestowed upon them from above. When jealousy steals everything away from Damayanti and Nala, including the right to embrace their duties as leaders and fulfill their life-purpose, will faith be enough of a weapon to fight against all odds? Will our world truly reward the good? Witness this captivating tale to find out.
