the sky is the same color everywhere or on the rapture of being alive is a five-hour dance performance in Seattle's downtown that combines art, history, architecture, and community engagement. A collaboration between Seattle dance and durational performance company MALACARNE, and Path With Art (PWA) – a non-profit organization that offers free art classes to people recovering from houselessness and addiction. Taking place at the 2+U Urban Village in Downtown Seattle, the project focuses on community engagement, duration, history as source material/inspiration, architecture, place, and space.
